Howto install postfix mail server on Centos 6.3 or Redhat 6.3 RHEL

[root@localhost ~]# yum install postfix

3. Start Postfix mail server

[root@localhost ~]# /etc/init.d/postfix start

4. Check Postfix service

[root@localhost ~]# netstat -nutlap | grep 25
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 9054/master
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:20000 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 2258/perl
tcp 0 0 :::23 :::* LISTEN 2025/xinetd
