Howto configure Login Banner SSH Banner or MOTD Banner on Redhat 6 RHEL

 

1. Configure banner on /etc/issue.net

[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# vi /etc/issue

2. Configure SSH configuration to load the banner for SSH Session

3.  Restart SSH service and try to login

[root@localhost /]# /etc/init.d/sshd restart
