Install FTP Client on Centos 6.3 or RedHat 6.3 RHEL

By default, FTP Client is not installed on Centos 6.3 and RedHat 6.3

 

Step 1: Check present status if we can do ftp to one server

[root@localhost ~]# ftp localhost
-bash: ftp: command not found

Step 2: Install ftp client on Centos/RedHat Server

[root@localhost ~]# yum install ftp
Loaded plugins: security
