Howto enable or configure SSH access on IPCop 1.4.20 or IPcop 1.4.21

By default, SHH is not enabled on IPCop firewall. You have to enable it by yourself.

1. Access the IPCop GUI is as simple as starting your browser and entering the IP address (of the green IPCop interface)or hostname of your IPCop server along with a port director of either 445 (https/secure) or 81(redirected to 445): https://ipcop:445 or https://192.168.1.100:445 or http://ipcop:81 or http://192.168.1.100:81

Connect to  http://ipcop:81 or http://192.168.1.100:81 to access IPCop GUI

Or https://ipcop:445 or https://192.168.1.100:445

Click Connect to configure IPCop SSH access

Enter your admin password:

Click on SSH Access to configure SSH

Check on  SSH Access to enable SSH connection:

Now you can remote access your IPCop Server via SSH:

You can use Putty software and default port is 222

That’s all. Thanks for using IThelpblog.com.
